It's time again for the air show at the airport three miles from our house. The Air Force Thunderbirds have arrived (yesterday) and started their practices today. They fly right over our house and the sound is incredible. I LOVE it, love it, love it!
We attended the show one year. I really enjoyed it, but it was long and HOT. I've been to a few air shows in various places, but I'm just as happy watching them fly right over my house and feeling everything shake.
One year, we were in an RV park that was right at the end of the runway of Oceana Air Station in Virginia Beach. When the jets went over, you could actually see the pilots. And loud? Yep, loud.
