The happiest point in your life

Summer job working for U S Forest Service. 12 of us guys in a remote camp cooking for ourselves living in bunk trailers. surveying for logging roads assigned to fight forest fires on occasion. Actually competed regarding which crew could survey the most area. No family responsibilities or girl concerns. 100% testosterones rush.

My happiest point is now. I'm retired so I don't have to answer to anyone else or have the stress of a career. I am still healthy and mobile enough to do everything I did when I was in my 40's. We can pick anytime to travel without asking for "time off". I set my own schedule. I'm not beholden to shareholders.

I don't have to worry about making ends meet like I did when I was younger. Hubby and I are on our 34th year together and are best friends. What's not to be happy about?
