The hazards of being a cleaning lady

I never had any clients quite as bad as the one in this story, but close! notalwaysright.com/tag/cleaning-company

I did have one who couldn't be bothered to let her dogs outside (they had a fenced yard) and wouldn't dream of cleaning up after them, but I was only there once every two weeks. You can imagine the mess and the smell. She had two little kids and wouldn't clean up after the dogs? Ew. Wonder what her husband thought of it and why he didn't clean it up?

I do believe the first thing I'd have done was tell her to take her hands off me (when she went upstairs to confront the cleaning lady). If she'd have gotten as far as grabbing my hand and shoving it in the toilet (not bloody likely!), I'd have wiped it off on her first, then washed my hands before leaving.

There was one client who'd check each room when I finished it and run her hand along the top of the door and window frames. You'd think after a while she'd have given it up since they were always squeaky clean.

Okay first you do not touch me. Number two I am not being paid enough to put up with your crap. And finally I am armed with a bleach spray and I know how to use it. What a thankless job there, poor thing.
