"All Churches Should Be Homeless Shelters at NIGHT ...
Whats Your Opinion On This !!!!"
Somehow this thread has gone from responding to the topic of churches offering help to homeless to less than cordial interaction in various posts.
My opinion
I don't think expecting all churches to house homeless overnight would be a good idea. IMO simply put, not all churches have the ability to house people overnight. Churches that have the capability to accept & are willing to accept the homeless that WANT to spend the night could make that offer.
Keys being.
Not force all churches to house homeless overnight.
And not allow homeless to make a church their residence.
Now about the variety of posts addressing personal experiences & opinions gained from articles in the media.
IMO there is no singular reason for a person or family to become homeless. On a personal level I haven't interacted with homeless & can't personally relate any experiences. But I do know in America there are tax paid agencies to help those that WANT help. I doubt there is a 100% success rate but at least there are avenues to seek help.
