I do that one leg test while waiting for my coffee to brew.
Standing next to the kitchen counter makes me feel a bit safer if I need to grab something to steady myself.
I’ve gradually gotten better and feel good about that but I’m not sure how that translates into real world activity.
I notice in the winter when I slip I can still sort of correct things and prevent a fall most of the time.
I did fall twice last year, one hard and one soft landing.
Those falls make me feel a bit skidish about my ability to balance and bounce without injury but I hate to give up and just sit in a chair.
