the infrastructure is breaking down

If you look at the way tax dollars are spent, the government needs a lesson in economics before they find another way to increase tax revenue, if churches were taxed. Correction: God does not get angry and I hope he does not get even, I might be in troule along with alot others. Most if not all churches help persons in need because they are tax exempt and have a few extra dollars. If the government managed our tax dollars like churches manage their money things would be better. p.s. I'm one of the persons on earth that could use some extra money. lol

I am watching the news and our government is considering another expedition to the moon which will cost $20 to $30 Billion. I guess that is tax dollars well spent instead of getting involved in another foreign conflict such as Iraq and Afghanistan. The price tag for the war and rebuiling these countries was 2.4 Trillion. The phrase that the Roman Emperor ''Fiddled while Rome burned'' could be our fate. Another rumor I read on the internet stated that the the Iraq War was was paid from funds siphon from Social Security Funds. I have viewed film of the moon and the landing (nothing there) and just think it would be best to fund infrastructure, but what the heck do I know. :yoda:
 
I have been firmly convinced...for years....that somewhere between 1/3rd to 1/2 of every tax dollar sent to Washington, or the State governments, is wasted on projects that only benefit the "special interests"...and the working taxpayers are left with the crumbs that fall off the table. If governments had to manage their money like responsible individuals, we would have a far different world.
 

It's a very dangerous situation that federal, state and local governments need to take seriously enough to do something about. It's always about not having enough money, yet money is spent foolishly on other things. What happens if mass casualties occur because infrastructures are left to further deteriorate?
 
The degeneration of the human race? Has the human race ever been civilised? Look around you, read the news...humans are still savages and always have been.
