When I Googled Sarsaparilla, the site wideopeneats.com was not in the search results. Then I went to wideopeneats.com and when it opened it said wideopencountry. Still, I entered Sarsaparilla in their search bar. The results I got said nothing of international traffic - I just got this: "No results found for ā€œSarsaparillaā€. Check the spelling or use a different word or phrase."

You might find it at Swanson. I order from them all the time with good results, and they sell in your country: TRY HERE. They do carry Sarsaparilla, I checked.

I'm seeing that kind of response more and more often. Companies are trying to protect their websites from bad actors with bad intentions. Or they just really don't want us foreigners viewing their websites.

Doesn't make sense to me. After all there is VPN and using other legitimate sites to get access.

In my experience VPNs sometimes make things worse. Some sites can detect them and block access.

I love to read restaurant reviews, and I've noticed lately that Yelp will first give me a message saying "We've detected unusual activity coming from your network" (this is not when I'm using a VPN) and will ask me to click a CAPTCHA box (luckily not one of those frustrating puzzles) before allowing me to proceed to the site.
