The Interview

I just checked You Tube and the film is available for a 48 hour online rental for $5.99 and can be viewed within 30 days of purchasing. Even though it's a comedy the reviews have not been kind. I will watch it tonight anyway.

I'll probably catch it when it runs free on cable TV, it's just a slapstick comedy that is probably nowhere near as funny as movies like Airplane or Trains, Boats and Planes with John Candy and Steve Martin, etc.

Iwould rather pay $5.99 to see something I want to see rather than pay the CABLE Company their outrageous monthly fees for HBO to watch a bunch of junk that I don't want to see. HBO ain't free.

I wouldn't have been particularly interested in paying first run prices to see it before all the "terror" blah blah & no more so now. I am inclined to believe the whole terror threat thing was a plot by Sony to stir up interest. It ran yest in several places here in NM, in several theaters, with some of the attendees saying things like " nobody's gonna tell ME what movies I can or can't see!"

I wouldn't pay for HBO either, but we have it free since we signed up to use them for our internet service. If that deal expires, then we won't have the HBO.

I really have no interest in seeing The Interview at any price. When I first saw it advertised I thought it looked pretty lame, so I'm not going to see it now just because of all the controversy. I would much rather spend my money to see a meaningful movie such as Unbroken or a fun one like Into the Woods.

If it ends up on Netflix I will watch it. Only because I have the service. But I'm not paying extra to watch it now. The storyline doesn't perk my interest anyway.
