The irony of this commercial of 2 yrs back.........

I don't think it's funny, and I think it's a safe assumption that the majority of those passengers were innocent victims.

Yes, let's all sit in a circle, hold hands and cry with the families - that will help a lot.

Come on, people - after two weeks you have to give them up. The longer you hold onto hope and grieve for them the longer you're torturing yourselves. Sometimes you just have to move on, say your prayers and get back to living.

I note that the families are protesting against the Malaysian government - WHY? Do they believe that the government knows exactly where this plane is and is holding their family members hostage?

There's such a thing as misdirected grief, and I think this is one manifestation of it.

Dark humor in tough times is a great stress release. Someone once said there's nothing that cannot be laughed at. I'd like to believe that but find it difficult. Too soon? Sure. But I can appreciate the attempt . . . Of course it's not funny to anyone closely involved. Nothing is funny to those poor people. We are so far removed that the thoughtless will come up with anything. It can be a cold, cruel world.
