Have not been around here much and I blame the spider that bit me. That's my excuse....I could not make this stuff up.

But I do blame myself for not seeking medical attention earlier.....lesson learned on that score. First I got stung by a bee and figured "oh well" But then I woke up a few days after that with a lump near the eye and decided to ignore that too. I am a coward when it comes to doctors.

Finally after a few days of sitting around with no appetite I was threatened by hubby and a friend with being bodily dragged to see the sawbones. The diagnosis....spider bite, likely the brown recluse spider. Antibiotics are working but the dragged out, dragged down feeling is awful.

On the mend now and there is a bright side.....I lost 9 pounds.
 

Yes, stick with Richard Simmons from now on...
 

I'm glad you're okay Lee, those type of spider bites can be very serious from what I heard. There's some in my area, but luckily I haven't been bit.
 
Thanks everyone for the kind words.....there is a side effect....I've developed a severe case of arachnaphobia :eek:
