Morecambe Stone Jetty in late afternoon sun today, with the Lakeland Fells across the bay. This about 5 minutes from home

What kind of rock make up the little cliff? I know what walking in sand like that feels like! Sometimes yucky, I thought. It's not clay, is it? Don't know why I asked that; know nothing of geology!
