Does anyone remember the Stephen King movie, The Langoliers? If you ever wondered what happened to yesterday when you wake up today, this movie let's you know! Time monsters that are nothing but big balls of sharp teeth that chew their way through the present to make room for tomorrow. Creepy. (Love it! :ROFLMAO:)

I remember watching this few times. Given the opportunity I would watch it again

Haha yes! I recently was going through old video tapes and we had recorded a lot of TV movies and series and Langoliers was one. I watched a bit of it and intend to watch it. You reminded me, thanks!

Believe it or not, I was reminded about this movie when I was playing scrabble and almost had all the letters to play langoliers! Not a valid word in scrabble, by the way.

Yes! I loved the story and the movie adaptation. One of the few times they got one of SK's books right, on film. Really enjoyed that one.

For some reason this type of thing really appeals to me. I could have dreams like this and not be scared by the dream
I like this type of movie too. Creepy, kind of scary without all the blood and guts of most horror movies.

Another movie like this is The Final Countdown with Kirk Douglas. It's about an aircraft carrier that goes through some sort of portal and gets thrown back in time. Interesting story line.

I used to have a lot of Stephen King books when I was young however my daughter became a fan and she has acquired them.
Lucky I kept those old video tapes. Although the books are always better!

I remember this. This would be on my watch again list too. The small boat in the clip at 1:23 Wasn’t there some kind of interaction between them and personal from the aircraft carrier. A question or something was asked and the response was something like, “no can do”. Which caused some confusion between peoples who were in an era 50 years or so apart?

ooo, I really enjoy that type of story and haven't seen that one. I'll check Netflix, et al.
