Since tariffs were discussed earlier in this forum, I wanted to give you an update. No, it's not joke.

I will not provide a link since that could be construed as political. You can look it up yourselves or you will soon see news about it. Great news!

My understanding is that this was the action of a very low court in one State that probably has no actual jurisdiction. Every indication that this is just another political lawfare action. Only Congress has any real authority in this matter, not a cabal of political appointees.

I'm not pretending anything. Tariffs have been a big topic in this forum. There are members here who have bought cars in anticipation of tariffs, and as I recall @StarSong is now paying more for merchandise due to the same circumstance.

This affects many in this forum. I don't give a rat's patooty why it happened or which entities were involved. I only care that it did.

IMO the politics are nothing, I don’t see anyone changing their views of the current administration no matter what happens.

My only interest is in the impact on my personal finances and those of the people that I care about.

It will be interesting to see where this goes.

I’m sure that the next steps will include a round of appeals and legal opinions.

Maybe another short term surge in the financial markets.
