The last unvaccinated person on Earth - a philosophical question

If the last unvaccinated person on earth hasn't had Covid already and has immunity from that then I would assume they had a natural immunity built up through exposure to Covid in small amounts over time. Therefore no need for vaccination.

No need for that last person to get vaccinated. CDC data says about 76% of us folks >65 are fully vaccinated, and another 11% have had a least one jab, so as a group we are fast approaching herd immunity. Plus, even while new cases continue to drop, the fact remains that almost all of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. So at this point I say the whole thing has become a Darwinian selective thinning of the herd.

But that's just my opinion. YMMV.

They would need to be vaccinated because the virus still exists whether the population is vaccinated or not.

That's my belief also but this was a philosophical question I watched two people debating. They also concluded "no." But I thought I would like to ask everyone here their opinion.
