Latest scam I've seen was in a text thanking me for renewing a subscription fo5r $564.2 I checked all my credit cards and bank information on line to be certain nothing had been charged anywhere. Looking at it again since the number was somewhat incomplete I reasoned it was done so on purpose to encourage a reply. Subtle ways to lure information from us.

I get those .. also texts from banks. I immediately delete them.
An elder relative got caught in a scam last year, and gave cash to the perpetrators. Fortunately, her nephew called the police and they got all her money back.
