Thank you for sharing that article and for bringing my attention to something of which I was not aware. I've had three episodes of light headedness over the last four months. On one occasion I fell unconscious. Each time I'm certain that I had palpitations prior to feeling dizzy. My doctor said that we should wait another three months to see what happens and then he "might" refer me to a cardiologist. He thought the episodes were caused by a heavy cold combined with a gastro-flu type bug that I've had on-and-off all winter.
As a result of this thread I shall go to my GP again, armed with this useful information, and insist on an immediate referral.
You may well have saved my life and have certainly helped my health and feelings of empowerment :love_heart:
