Altho' some on the list are ancient wonders.. many modern ones have been added... asked in Survey of 2000 Brits in the National Geographic...

Do you agree.. is there any you would have added that are not on the list..? Have you been to any on the list and disagree that they should be there ?

I've visited a few on the list and much as I love Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia.. I wouldn't call it a ''wonder of the world''..nor the Chanel Tunnel from here to France .. Fabulous architecture but nothing out of this world

  1. Great Wall of China
  2. International Space Station
  3. The Internet
  4. Panama Canal
  5. Golden Gate Bridge
  6. Channel Tunnel
  7. Hubble Space Telescope
  8. Burj Khalifa
  9. Hoover Dam
  10. CERN Large Hadron Collider
  11. Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia
  12. Hanging Gardens of Singapore
  13. The Shard
  14. Shanghai Maglev Train
  15. One World Trade Center
  16. The Palm Jumeirah

Holly lovely Dolly, I am visiting the internet right now, but all those other wondrous things you have listed I can see on the telly, however, what about the humble spoon?
Right this minute, there are hundreds of millions of people all over the world wielding their spoons full of food into their expectant cakeholes.... and the poor little spoons don't even get a mention, disgraceful it is. 😊

you know what?...I have often thought when looking at the cutlery drawer, just how genius the spoon was ..it 's unlike the knife or fork.. and if needs be in the absence of the other 2 we could get by with just that... who invented the spoon, huh ? ..well according to Dr Google.. the ancient Egyptians were the first as far back as 1000 BC:D

Yeh, OK, but theirs weren't stainless steel.... and, I use a spoon to help put my shoes on too. 😊

I'm giving my vote for the person who invented the "spork". What an invention!
