Yes, describe your last MRI and every surgery you've had. Make it up if you have to!
Where should I start..........!I started reading this thread for ideas on how to bore my neighbor who always feels the need to stop by and chat. He's a white supremacist, and I don't want anything to do with him, so maybe instead of telling him to get the hell away from me, I can just ramble on and on about something he doesn't care about and he'll leave on his own accord. If anyone has any suggestions, please post them.![]()
I was raised around religious people who knew everyone who didn't see things their way was going to hell, the fire and brimstone version. I've learned to avoid them and life is much better.Sometimes what annoys a person is a useful mirror into one's own behavior patterns.
That struck me when I first read your answer a few days ago and came to mind again in the vaccine thread.

I'm told asking someone having a rant to repeat whatever they'd said a minute or so previously, so the point they were making before whatever they'd moved on to can have a similarly frustrating effect.I used to have to listen to my husband complain about work for an hour. I began to stop him when I noticed he was getting wound up for a long-winded rant. I'd ask for just the highlights and he'd say, no, he has to start at the beginning. I'd say but the whole story is too long and boring. Then we'd get into an argument, which was far more interesting. Poor guy, no wonder his heart gave out.
No, poor guy. He wore himself out talking at me then getting side-tracked like that.I'm told asking someone having a rant to repeat whatever they'd said a minute or so previously, so the point they were making before whatever they'd moved on to can have a similarly frustrating effect.
The poor guy didn't stand a chance did he..... !.![]()
