According to Edmunds, the most popular car color in the U.S. is white. I did look it up after waiting at a traffic light and seeing the oncoming cars waiting for the light change. That just caught me eye since every one was white. Made me wonder. However Forbes says blue is gradually overtaking white. What color is/are your car(s) ?

The color of my car is clear-coat. There is no paint. The stamped metal body panels show in their assembly-line colors.

current cars are Black, White, and Black. However, past cars have been, red, yellow, pink, green, several shades of blue, orange, brown, tan, gold, grey-red-black primer. I guess price vs value was the determining factor with my choices. :):)

When we were married in 1966, I had a black 1959 Impala. Swore I would never own another black vehicle. Today... Wife has a black Impala and my Ram Truck is black. Sheesh!!!!

I grew up in snow country and my parents told us not to buy white or black cars because it was hard for people to see them after a big storm or in dark places.

I have always had red or blue cars.

Our truck is White, and the car is Silver. We chose these colors primarily because of where we live...on a gravel road. I like darker colored vehicles, but they would always look dirty here, so from a practical standpoint, we select lighter colors.

White or silver. I live on a dirt road aways off the pavement, so a fresh car wash doesn't last long...at all.

Dust doesn't show up quite as dramatically on a white or silver car, as it does on a blue or black car. My wife's pearlescent blue Subaru

shows the dirt & dust really bad. My white pickup truck gets washed every time it rains, but always looks tight! ;)

We have a maroon car.I'm not much on cars. To me it is just a means to get from one place to another. When the hubby wanted to get a new car he asked me what I wanted. I left it up to him but I did say I would like a red one. So he came home with a maroon one. I think he is a bit colorblind. Maybe it's a good thing. I read that people in bright red cars get pulled over more often than in other color cars. I don't know if it is true or not. I still would like a fire engine red car.

I like a charcoal grey color, or my favorite is a Teal color, my jeep is similar to this one. Worst colors for me are red, black, white, pink, taxi cab yellow or "electric" blue. :p

It's amazing how varied people's taste in auto color is. I can't see how white is so popular - to me it's boring - like why have vanilla ice cream when you can have tutti-frutti? Some said they hate red and blue. Those I like - a dark red like maroon or bright blue.

I like neutral colors for cars..If u live where it is really hot, IMO white is best. Even though we all have air conditioning, I would think sitting in the sun, black absorbs heat, while white reflects. I love the look of a shiny black car but for that reason always avoided them. I also always believed cops spot red speeding cars more easily than others..I no longer speed..maybe my next car will be red :)
