My daughter was troubled with a third-grade problem. Her schoolteacher gave her class an assignment she did not want to do. She was supposed to tell a joke in class the next day. Finally, a child problem her dad the comedian can solve. I asked her why she didn’t want to do the assignment. She begrudgingly answered, “Because I think it’s stupid to stand in front of a bunch of people and tell jokes!”
