The obscenity of robo calls, and - - -

We have "NoMoRobo" through Comcast and it works GREAT. It blocks robo-calls, though there is occasionally a single ring as it adds a new phony caller to the database. Oh, and it's FREE.

So if this technology is available, I have to wonder why it isn't more widely used by all carriers.

I've got that too. It works with my AT&T landline. It helps a lot. I still get some annoying calls but those are the ones that are actually dialed by people and not a computer.

I use my Digitone ProSeries Blocker which connects to my phone line and then my phone connects to it. I had to purchase it but it has been worth it. It will block using area codes or phone number and it will store 1000. I very rarely get a call from these people now.

I like all of you get these silly calls can get about 4 to 6 a everyday and i don't mind at all, as am retired, as it gets me up off the sofa to look at my caller display when the phone rings and if i don`t recognise
the number i just let the phone ring and go an sit down, yeahh thats a bit of exercise for me till the next call comes by, better then nodding off on me sofa.
the funny thing is when i go out fer the day and get back home there is no messg on answer phone.

Most of them don't leave a message, they just hang up. When they do leave a message it's even more annoying, then you have to go over and deal with the answering machine.

Our phone is set to a different ringtone when it's a Robo Call. Had one this morning and surprisingly my husband picked up (we normally let them ring through). He asked who they were and where they were calling from. The call originated from Ontario. They said our computer had a virus .. yeah, heard that one before.

Paxton, the supermarket flyers, coupon books and some other junk comes via the local newspaper. I was advised by my mail man one day to call the paper and have it stopped I did and it stopped!

Now when you figure out how to return mail to Capitol One, please let me know. Thank you.
