The prices of oil change.....vast difference

I went to one of those quicky-lube joints and though they threw in a car wash it was far more than going to the dealership the next time. There they filled and checked tire air pressure, rotated the tires, did a battery test, and a software update as well.

I've only had my oil/filter changed at a dealer Once....years ago. I got a couple of miles away when the check engine light came on. and I pulled over immediately, and noticed a big streak of oil on the road behind me. I quickly had the car towed back to the dealer, where they found the oil pan plug missing....the "mechanic" obviously didn't tighten it properly. Luckily, the engine survived, but after that, I have Always done the task myself.

Sadly, these jobs need to get done, or you risk higher repair costs.

Everything is higher priced these days. And one they go up, they never go back down.

I only change my oil using the finest Full Synthetic Motor oils. All done with Mixes.
After break in oil change 5W20's no way a lifetime oil for me. It's a fleet oil for mileage averages. Way too
Much noise coming from the motor.
