Police in Brazil are on strike and has lead to Purge like violence with no repercussions.

That is so awful! I read stories like this and always imagine myself there....can you imagine cowering behind your locked doors and hoping those gunshots don't come closer, that your son gets home! Worrying about your children and wondering how life will go one! Just horrific and makes me treasure the peace and quiet of little Charlottetown!

The government has sent in 200 troops to slow violence. 50 deaths so far.
