I wish people would chill a little about people's taste in body adornment. The concerns matter not one iota! If you grew up in The Kayan Tribe who inhabit three villages in Mae Hong Son province of Thailand, you might be fashionable like this:

I must say, I love that type of nose ring. Very attractive and exotic! What I don't like are those open ended nose rings with those tiny little barbells than dangle from the centre of the nose. They look as if the wearer forgot to wipe her nose!

I’m not a fan of those types of nose rings either so don’t look. I’m not a fan of those stretched tunnel earlobes either but people still get them.

Just somebody clarify for me again please? Why am I seeing so many people, especially young women, who have not just one but often several rings bristling from their noses?

I want to believe there is a reason for everything.

I understand a ring for a bull's nose makes it more controllable for farmers to lead. That makes sense.

I just think it's a form of jewelry, they have been around for decades. Some likely find it attractive and fun, I've seen some very attractive young women who look great with their nose, ear or face jewelry. I have no problem with it at all.

Personally, I don't like wearing jewelry, had my ears pierced around forty years ago and you could probably count the amount of times I actually wore earrings in them on one hand.

Fact of the matter is, we're all individuals and nobody needs a "reason" for what they wear and what they like. Personal choice, matter of taste, if you're not being hurt by it, why should it matter?

What on earth is good about them? Bulls have them fitted as it hurts the bull to pull against the rope leading them. At the local naked bike ride, I noticed a couple go past on a tandem. He had one in the end of his ***** and she had one in her clitoris. No thanks.

Boy, you really examined them and got an eye-full, bet you wished they'd pass again, huh? Lol.

I guess it's the same reason for finger rings, necklaces, earrings, anklets, botox, cosmetic surgery, breast implants, stylish beards, tattoos, hair color, hair implants, toupees, hair extensions, fake nails, lip plates, neck rings, artistic scarring and anything else that people like to do.

Should they not have asked us first?
Don’t they know how much we all disapprove?
Why don’t they do with their bodies what we want them to do?

Why don’t they keep their beautifully formed breasts so we can enjoy gawking at them without squirming in discomfort?

Lol, we took our beloved poodle Angel to the vet this morning for pre-teeth cleaning blood work. Was talking to the young vet tech that has a nostril ring.... couldn't help focusing on it . It was not "offensive", just different .

The only problem is all that has absolutely nothing to do with the question, so why post it? People can do what they like regarding mutilating their bodies, their choice, and I have a free choice to like it or dislike it. But as posted, are women free to be topless in public, and why not, their choice? And why were Formula One girls discontinued when they enjoyed the job and all the polls taken at the time voted 95% in favour of retaining them? Then the 5% in life always has to take precedence.

You don’t like them so don’t get it done.
Others do like them, so get it done.
It’s not a difficult concept to understand.
You might like beer so buy some and drink it.
Others might not like beer so don’t drink it.

Where have I posted that they hurt me??? I posted Bulls do not pull against a ring as it hurts the soft flesh in their noses. The reason a young child can lead a one-ton bull by the nose. On the other hand, a hooked fish is the opposite and pulls with more than excessive force. Reason being they have boney mouths and do not feel pain.
