The smell of happiness

If you could smell happiness, what would it smell like?

The miry scent of a shaded autumn stream
Sea air after a storm
The smell of a child coming in from outside
A fresh cut lawn
A real Christmas tree

The hair of a natural woman

Dirt on a freshly harvested carrot
Decayed autumn leaves

The inner workings of a well-used baseball glove

The diesel exhaust of a truck stop

Many more…but it gets weird from here on

Smell of happiness ... mine is a very thick glass jar closed w/ a cork lid, and filled w/asst. scented seashell soaps that I have had since I was first married over 50 years ago. It's something I saved all these years, and the scent from that jar has never faded.
It's Heaven and happiness to me.

Incredible Bonnie. :)

My homemade pizza, just before I take it from the oven, the chilled, early morning air, intermingled with the aroma of brewing coffee, as I walk around an RV camp, in a state park, my gf's neck, as I give her a hug and a kiss, when she walks in the door, after a busy day at work, my little Max's head, when he snuggles up to me, on the couch, after we eat lunch, that new vehicle smell, every three years.

Favorite smell would be the whole fresh ham my wife prepares as traditional Puerto Rican pernil asado. Our favorite at our family get together at Christmas.

first crisp autumn day
getting a lick on my nose or ear after I take my close friend's dog for his afternoon walk.
When I bend down to hug him goodbye,he sighs and wags his tail. Always makes my day
