Funny, we just watched the movie "I, Tonya" for a second time. After the Kerrigan incident she was the most hated person in the US. However, after seeing her upbringing (horrible single mom, not enough money to afford decent skating costumes, boyfriend who was physically abusive) I had a bit more sympathy for her.

Very low point in her life. The backstory to this tale was she was abused, mistreated and taunted by her mother eons ago so she has her chauffeur and former husband attack Nancy. I think she had Nancy assaulted because she well knew Nancy was going to mop the floor with her in the rink. She wound up on some goofy "Worlds dumbest crooks" T.V. series with that dope fiend Willis guy goofing on the likes of themselves. You didn't have to be a rocket scientist to know most of the scenes were staged.
