I had a dental appointment years and years ago on Halloween. The very manly dentist was dressed in a pink fairy costume, complete with tutu, tights, pink high-top basketball shoes, tiara and wings. I loved that dentist!
In my childhood, if I put a cast-off tooth under my pillow, Iād find a quarter there the next morning. That was back in the day when a quarter was actually money, and you could buy five candy bars with it!
When I was a kid, I used to talk to our cat, and when I pulled a tooth out, I told Jade that I was putting the tooth under my pillow to find a sixpence there in the morning.
She asked," If I gave you one of my teeth to put under your pillow, could you leave a note asking for a tin of pilchards instead?"
Well, I had my doubts. I wanted to see the cash first. So, I made a ball out Kleenex and stuck it under my pillow. Next, day, there was a quarter. Alright!!!! That evening I put the tooth under my pillow and zilch, nada, nothing. It was apparent this tooth fairy person was running a pretty shabby operation.
