No one cares about me she said
I am an old woman, invisible now.
If something happened, who would know?
The rain began, and she lamented she had not brought her umbrella.
I am a fool, she lambasted herself.
An old fool
Unloved
Uncared about
I deserve this
No one cares about me

Suddenly a giant hand came from the sky
It held a red umbrella over the old woman’s head
She had no more words
Dumbstruck with awe
For someone cared
