The "Villages" the largest and fastest growing senior community in North America

I'll Pass on it. Only way to see Florida is fly over it. ... :ROFLMAO: ...
I did love the Naples area and the Pennsicola area, north. But,
ha ha nay on standing water / mosquitos, Bears, gators + snakes.
Gulf Shores, barrier islands, off St. Petersburg, all sweet but nope.
Not in my Bucket List. Good Luck! Mostly everything is crooked too.
Saw lil palm trees tied down with steel cables and tops burnt out via lightening.

This is just terrible. Stepford people giving away their money for a false sense of security going into old age. I have read about this place(s) before and was always wondering. Does no one in this country think for themselves anymore??

Remember the Govenor says its legally ok to just drive over people if you believe they're imported trash.

Wow, it's easy to pass that test!

When I first thought about moving to Florida, I toured the Villages in a golf cart. The salesperson runs you from one home to another. One thing is for sure. You are certainly going to find what you’re looking for. I spoke to a few people that live there. One gentleman told me it’s a Peyton Place. I guess that means a lot of swapping goes on. Another man said he loved it because he can play golf everyday. A lady told me she was leaving because her husband died in the spring and single, older men won’t leave her alone.

She said she was a 59 year old widow and liked it there when her man was alive, but not now.

I spent a few days there in my RV visiting a friends parents about 8 years ago. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was nicely landscaped everywhere, there were more golf courses than you could count and something like 40,000 golf carts. I had a lot of fun. I wouldn't want to live in Florida so zero chance of moving there.

I myself have always despised Florida. However, my brother and his wife live in The Villages, and my sister lived there until her death 3 years ago. I have never visited. When my mother was alive I visited her yearly, but once she died I was done with that state. At least my mother lived across the street from the beach! The Villages is landlocked.
