We have decided not to use grass or clover but the above ground cover. We also decided to add a third garden area in the front and fill it with all the pots we ended up having. Less space to fill in. The creeper meets all our needs. We bought six flats of it, expensive stuff, and I planted three Flats today.

Our front yard has poor soil, full sun but a little shade from a neighbors tree. The creeper is hardy in zone 6 and up. While we are zone 5, I think it will be fine as our winters are getting milder and we rarely drop below 0. It does well in most soils and can be planted now which is a plus. So tired of all the dirt and no ground cover.

Looking forward to it filling in and looking great!
