Hi! I’m glad to join this chat group. I enjoy reading and writing. I’m a news junkie, but enjoy good movies of different genres, and read biographies and historical novels. I’m writing a book about why people are leaving churches so much these days. I look forward to intellectual conversations and ideas. Looking forward to chatting with you.
 

Hi Sacramento! My hubby and I moved away from there 10 years ago. Born & raised in California, I was sad to see it change so drastically. We moved to quiet Boise, but recently lots and lots of Californians have followed, and now it’s not so quiet here. Still, we love the climate, change of seasons, people, culture, and outdoor adventures.
 
I grew up in Redondo Beach, married a country boy from New Mexico. So in an effort to get out of the city we eventually settled in a small town in B C Canada, and we both love it! Welcome to the group, I hope you will enjoy it here.

Thank you. Writing a book is like building a house. It takes good bones to hold it together. I’m still building its bones. May I ask if you are a retired pastor, or one of many ministers who left their ministry?
