I was on Our Time. The software is abominably written. Searches are for the birds and the other "features" are mostly useless. I stated in each message that the software stank and gave my email address. The dating site is so focused on squeezing money out of customers that they want everyone to only send messages using their message feature and so many dumb women buy into their manufactured paranoia (as if an email address is going to cost you $50,000 in scam loss). So the site canceled me and refunded my $120. Now I'm persona non grata on Our Time. They seem to tolerate low key contact info but I was very public with it.
 
Tried our time once. Many working girls contacted me right away. I must be more handsome than I think.
 

Match actually has a lot of women seeking relationships or marriage and some years back I ended up in a 1.5 year relationship with a woman. Six months in she finally started showing who she really was and I eventually needed to run away.

Lots of women on Match, and other sites. have the exact same picture that they showed 5+ years ago.

Many years ago, it was safer and more legit.

Even when the site is legit and okay, singles of all ages (especially women) are so choosy
and particular, that the matches inevitably fail
And the photos are misleading and old.
And men have the reputation of wanting sex...not so much seniors.

Really? I never knew such things exist. Oh those "naughty ole biddies." I thought that all old grannies became little ole church ladies but apparently, I was greatly mistaken and now I have been educated. Thanks Victor.

Congratulations! It's nice to read a nice, positive experience that brought both of you happiness. Most folks here take a rather dim view of the world of internet dating.

Thank you. The site was not a dating site, but for grief recovery from the loss of a family member, spouse, etc. I just lucked out to find a kindred soul:)
