The Worst Thing to Happen to Me Today

I'm just real nervous & depressed over everything. Haven't felt the same way about anything since Parkinson diagnosis.
Yea it sure feels like a kick in the guts. Might be worth getting some mild tranquilizers if you are able from some doc? but the other very useful option is to access the services of a good counsellor who can talk things through on a caring but rational way. We all need help along the way and sometimes busy doctors can't always find the time unfortunately? Yes you do need medical interventions obviously for the Parkinsonism but that may take time - your emotional needs are immediate?

The worst thing to happen to me yesterday was finding two tiny cavities in my left-front teeth.

I have severe anxiety and for some reason my teeth have become a trigger-point for me, in recent months. I worry about them excessively and take extra care of them.

Now, having just had a cavity filled (and one re-filled) a few weeks ago, I've found two more.

I'm going for a clean and exam July 8th (sooner if they have a cancellation) and will schedule what needs to be done then, but in the meantime, I am searching for ways to calm my anxiety about it.

Worst thing happened a few weeks ago, but still fresh. I speak often of my niece, Julie. A few weeks ago her mom passed away at 86 years old. My brother (Julie's dad) is 15 years older than me. So I have pretty much known my sis in law my whole life. That, in and of itself, is hard.
But having to watch Julie grieve is the worst. I am very concerned for her mental health and well being. She is in grief counseling, but she can be like me...holding in emotions and not freely sharing.
PLUS...Her partner, Michelle, has moved out.....hopefully temporary. SO there is THAT!! I know Julie posted on FB recently that both Michelle and her dad were her rocks through all this, so I hope they can fix this. 😭😥

I fell off the ladder on the third rung when my slide started coming off and I slipped. I was hanging a planter for my neighbor. She said her son promised to stop by on Sunday and do it, but he never showed up. I asked her if she would like me to hang it and she was very delighted that I did it. She wanted to pay me, but I couldn’t take any money for such a simple job.

I enjoy doing favors for my neighbors. It helps to pass the time.
