Interesting local news item this morning. A 20 year old driver was fined by the local police for driving with an obstructed view. The driver claimed he could still see. The police officer did not believe him. See the photos and decide for yourself who is right and who is wrong.

RCMP issue fine for obstructed view; motorist claims he could still see

If you ask my humble option, I think this 20 year old man could have used the windshield wipers to remove most of the snow from the front window and maybe the back or was this too much to ask of him? Perhaps he knows something the rest of us don't?

How tall was the driver? Could they even peer out the inch or two of uncovered windshield?

Regardless it's no. I'd accept some snow on the window but that's basically covered in snow.

Well.....................
I was always late for work. And if I came running out of the house, and it snowed the night before, I did drive like that 20 year old. But I did observe more safety precautions. I wiped out a peep hole in the snow.
Never said I was a saint, or smart.

yup. that would be enough to get you stopped here. they don't even like seeing us drive with a small hole here. it looks as tho the driver window is down. maybe he was driving with his head out the window. looks like he was too lazy to scrape it.
