we are just so friggin' STUPTD!!! just think about all the damage we've done to our planet and it's enviorns since the advent of the Industrial Revolution!!! shame on us, eh?

Well yeah. We don't tend to think long term. In my opinion, it's a sad fact that we only evolved to be smart enough to survive long enough to reproduce. But, I guess I've wandered too far from the original subject. Sorry about that.

We know there is a huge reduction in count coming. It's a no brainer, we overpopulate everywhere we go. We have no way to keep our passions in our pants.

I live in Northeast Pennsylvania. Planes from out west going to NYC airports fly over me. There's a long line of planes, one right after the other.

But it's a trade-off, right? So many wonderful things rely on satellites, from your ability to post that comment to the speed at which an aircraft or refrigerated van can deliver a donated organ to its terminally ill recipient.

Dialing 911, a swift response to 911, your personal safety during a tornado, the safety of thousands and sometimes millions in the event of a terrorist attack or a military invasion, even just texting you'll be late to the wedding; all that relies on satellites.
