There is “no safe amount” of processed meat to eat,

LADIES USE HI QUALITY AIR FILTERS FOR ALL THE AIR YOU BREATH FROM BIRTH.
It may be uncomfortable on a Harley but still yo better dealing wid it.

Yep a man's survival on Earth depends on air filtration 1st.

Are there foods or supplements that successfully detox the body of all these foreign additives?

The secret of MacDonald's isn't the price, or availability. It's that it tastes really really good.

I've not had fast food for years, but when I think of a Big Mac and Fries..... the problem with it is that it tastes really really good. :D
I think if you had one you would be disappointed. They just don't taste the same to me as they did years ago. Maybe my tastes have changed or maybe it's them trying to produce it cheaply.

Also the sugar thing.. being related to a risk of Alzheimers.. is really not a direct link unless you're using a massive amount of sugar or sugary foods in the diet.. what the studies actually show is that people with Diabetes, are more likely to get Alzheimers...

Scientists Discover How Too Much Sugar Intake May Raise Alzheimer's Risk

red meat is fine as long as it's not processed ( I eat bacon twice a week) and you don't eat it every day ... ..but if you suffer from a very distressing problem like IBS then it's usually caused by something in the diet that your body hates... it could be anything...it could be coffee, it could be wheat, it could be dairy... the only way to find out is to cut everything out and start off again with a new slate..just eat wheat for a week see if you get sick.. etc
I eat a lot of sugar and it hasn't bothered me and glucose tests in blood work are normal. I've talked to my doctor about harm in eating sugar, and he brushes it off. As for IBS, yes, I suffer from it, and as soon as I eat red meat, it flares up. Do without vegetables it flares up; eat too many vegetables it flares up. Eat the same safe foods, it flares up. It is just going to happen now and then.

Likely. I recall drives of 100's of miles fueled by jerky. :D

I mean, it tasted great, but I wouldn't want to do that now.

I recall dating my to-be wife. She was attending a conference in Nashville, and I was in Northern VA. I was in transition, and I went to a car dealer and said "I need a car, and I need it now." I bought a red Grand Am, drove it off the lot, and straight to Nashville without her knowledge. I just had to be with her. We do crazy stuff when we're young.

I had Tom Waits "SwordFishTrombones" on the CD player playing over and over, and needed all the windows down to stay awake in the cold night air. Strange.........

Notice the report only used the term "processed meats" that covers a wide range of meat products, not only red meat but also fish and poultry. And processed can mean as little as freezing fresh caught fish then adding salt to inhibit spoilage. Most of the little meat I consume is chicken as in soups or pasta. I will buy chicken tenders from supermarket delis maybe a couple times a month.

Little poultry is freshly killed just before cooking and rather requires a minimum of processing, freezing and packaging for transport and then at destinations, cold storage before use. Such marginal processing is obviously not the same as say eating chicken nuggets that have also been bathed in flavoring and preservative ingredients. In any case, red meat is what most people eat 3 times a day, week after week, all their life that begins with endless meat sandwiches for school lunches. And today fast food is dominantly a cattle burger world that is not only bad for health but also at its massive level, our planet's fragile environment.

No hamages for this kid as was always a white bread, peanut butter and jelly washed down with milk kid.

...as we said earlier, I believe they're talking about Ultra Processed foods.. that's food which has ingredients which you typically don't find in your kitchen..and particulary dangerous to health is processed meats.... Ham, bacon ,hot dogs, sausages et al...

I used to raise my own Steers and Feeder Pigs / Lambs / Sheep. Meat at the Market is much different today.
Our Tap water states the stuff in it, supposed to be the best available. Same with sewer
disposal and Garbage. Warning all over the place about packaged / Fast food stuff.
Kennedy is screaming about dyes now. *(no crap) * ! U no white meat / Red Meat. Hahahahahahaha! /// ... :coffee: ...
no word _yea_ on Jewish hanging meat. They've built 5 more Fast food places in the burbs of town this summer.

The Ice Cream place closed a couple of years ago, I'm thinking a Battery reclaim shop is an investment opportunity there.

well no, because in that article they were talking about cancer being caused potentially by eating chicken that has some carcinogen in their feed... not processed chicken... however presumably if that chicken feed thing is right.. when you eat unprocessed chicken, then eating it processed would double your chances of becoming ill
The knowledge about antibiotics and the rush to slaughter very weak Hybrid Chickens, fast growing, many with broken leg bones & wings, blood strains altered by Genetics & a fact great to research. Speed to market would be the Facts. This most likely is all thru the edible diet crop of animals about to be slaughtered for human gluten's. I was watching the Salmon boats earlier. The problem with stuff on the outside of the boats.

It's like leasing a private jet with pilots and one with good pilots, maintenance ! ... :coffee: ...

Should one hire a Lawn Company to spray 2'4-D Herbicides and Comercial grade insect's killer on the yard.

List of foods that are bad for me = Everything that I like.

List of foods that are good for me = Everything that I don't like.

I've made it to 78 eating what I like. So I'll stick with what's gotten me this far.
Why should you change now! ..... :coffee: ..... U'r what you eat! Isn't that correct?
Sometimes my wife likes to pick up fast food. I like fresh sliced Tomatoes from
the outdoor market.

To her, ---- her own. ----- Lol.... ----- ----- She doesn't hear what I said anyway!

I’ve got my three score and ten.

I’ll continue to make room in my diet for the foods that I grew up with and enjoy while being mindful of the risks and doing what I can to adjust for them.

Studies, articles, videos, etc… can leave us with our heads spinning if we allow them to.

Preservatives, microplastics, emulsifiers, oh my!

IMO the most important thing that any of us can do is to simply enjoy our lives while we are able.

I bought some Ballpark frank's and some Dave's hotdog buns for the fourth and I hope I enjoy them. I haven't had a hotdog in I don't know how long. If you heat healthy most of the time I don't think it will kill you. It might kill my stomach though. We'll see.

You mean food you DON'T normally find in your kitchen?
