N.Y. State areas can get huge amounts of snow. Not on my Bucket list anymore.
Was there for a week once. My friends kept the spare bedroom filled with 4'X4'
boxes of groceries in the winter, just so it happens there.
My friend in Canada has 10' high piles of snow and a tracked Bobcat to put it there.
I watched a National Guard snow blower clear deep drifts from a blocked street and
blow the snow 100 yards up into a fairgrounds parking pasture. Cars buried were
towed off then.
