These Supplements Sold Online Have Dangerous Ingredients, FDA Warns

Hardly a day goes by that I don't receive an e-mail touting some "miraculous" cure for a given condition. I take a morning vitamin pill, from a source which has been in business for years, and where the ingredients are clearly listed on the label, but I sure wouldn't take any of this junk that is advertised in a spam e-mail.

From the article:
"After purchasing some weight-loss supplements and male-enhancement supplements from retailers like Amazon and eBay, the FDA found they "contain active pharmaceutical ingredients not listed on their labels," which can be seriously damaging to your health. They added that some of these ingredients are found in prescription drugs, and if you're not careful, ingesting these supplements can have severe side effects."

Over the counter weight-loss and male-enhancement supplements might have shady ingredients? Especially those sold on the internet?

Well there's a shock. Not.

Wow. I believe it. I've taken vitamins sporadically but I'm taking them daily now with Covid and vitamin D also since mine was low a number of years ago. I get them at the health food store. I'm not taking any of this junk.
