They put one in near my old house and then found out that the bigger fire trucks couldn't negotiate it without cutting short and driving over the plants and ornaments. So they had to tear part of it up and re-do it. Hopefully, somebody got their read end chewed out for THAT design.

I hate those things. They are designed for light, leisure traffic. When there's heavy traffic, they tend to clog up and the more they clog up the more drivers miss their turn off-thus they get more clogged up, ETC., ETC.

Normal in Britain where taking them out and replacing them with traffic lights can cause problems.Anyway this one is in Swindon..

I hate roundabouts. But I guess they work. Still hate 'em.
