Saw this post on social media and had to laugh:
" I think my electric knife was bought by my grandmother in the 1960s and it smells like it’s going to burst into flames every time i use it and i am going to use it til it does."
My own mother had the same clothes dryer for longer than it should have been alive. When it finally died, I wrote to the company. Never got a reply.
I have a portable mixer that still works, but also smelled like fire. Got a new one and the beaters keep falling out of their sockets.
