So Huzz is helping a buddy who bought a run-down house. It had renters living there who had 6 dogs and were hoarders; the previous owner evicted them and sold the house to Buddy. So now Buddy and Huzz are trying to clean out all the old clothing, pill bottles, all kindza junk so the place can be remodeled (or maybe bulldozed to the ground and Buddy will sell the lot). Anyway, they arrived there this morning and Buddy says, "Look, they broke the lock on the garage door and broke in there!" Huzz says, "Good, maybe they took some of the junk in there, less stuff for us to have to throw in the dumpster." Nope; not only did the thieves not take anything out of the garage, they left behind some old auto parts and a bag of what appears to be dog food. o_O

There was a time when I used to buy these $300 'specials' -cars that only passed inspection once. I had an 8 year old Chevy nobody would inspect. So I made my own "inspection sticker" and stuck it on the windshield. Somebody actually stole the car. But the kicker was the cops found it, and had it at the police station. They called and I could pick it up. I wasn't sure it wasn't a ploy to get me down there to arrest me for the sticker. Turns out, a cop drove it to the station and didn't notice the sticker. I got the impression it was "somebody's kid" who stole the car, and the cops weren't eager to make a big deal of it.
