Things that drive me crazy...

1. People who say, "We're almost there. We'll be there shortly. We'll be there in time. We're leaving right now. Etc." and an hour later, you're still waiting for them.

1.a Airlines that make frequent announcements that "We'll be boarding momentarily." when you can plainly see there's no plane there to board. When they use the word "momentarily" (and they always do), you know it'll be at least an hour.

2.a Doctors' offices: "The doctor will be with you shortly."

3.a Auto mechanics: "We should be able to get this done today. It's a small job."

2. People

Numero Uno...drives me up the wall...

Our airlines don't make that announcement, thankfully... but they do announce that the airline is now boarding at gate 12, and you can see there's no plane

Our doctors never make that announcement.. the waitng room has a monitor that just beams up our name and then which room...when the Doctor is ready to see us...

Mechanics here say just the opposite...regardless of how small the job is..they purse their lips, sometimes whistle.. rub their noses and say...Phewww this is gonna take a bit of working on.. it won't be cheap... then they charge 6 hours abour to change a bulb

At doctors office if I have not been seen within 15/20 minutes- I tell them I have another appt. I am seen
I also hate it waiting on others regardless of our relations. Plan a ahead people! When I worked some would come in late without explanation.Hacked me off to know end. No call . I have told others unless you have been hog tied and let for dead in a ditch- you have no reason not to call! And no cell phone is not an excuse.. homeless people have cell phones;)

The airlines shouldn’t be making those types of announcements. Most domestic flights board 30 minutes before the flight. If the flight is on a puddle jumper, which seats less that 60 passengers, they usually board 20 minutes prior to their scheduled flight time. There different situations that determine when your flight will leave. The best flight to take is always the first flight of the day. I know some are pretty early, but you are pretty much assured of being on time. All the other flights you may be taking are generally coming from a different city.

Hypothetical situation: If you are in Chicago and scheduled to leave for Boston at 3:00 p.m., unless your plane arrives at least 40 minutes prior to the departure time, you will probably be late leaving. It takes from 20-30 minutes to deplane the passengers, luggage and freight. While that’s being done, the plane has to be refueled and the oncoming flight crew has duties.

The flight attendants have to clean the cabin of any leftover debris and check the seatbelts for cleanliness and reposition them and also give the overhead bins a quick look. The pilots have to do a lot of paperwork and input data into the flight computer system or what is called the FMS, or Flight Management System. That’s the small computer between the two pilots. Each pilot has their own FMS and they are not synchronized.

Any plane that is connecting can be late arriving if they encountered a weather or a mechanical problem.

You can probably tell I enjoy talking aviation and explaining things to people who may not know what goes on upfront while you’re in your seat thinking, ‘Let’s get this thing in the air.’ Questions?

People who stand at a checkout counter and either start making small talk with the casher regardless of how long the line is – or – people who have to go through every pocket, or dig through their handbag, just to find and then count out the exact change.
It always annoys me why people stand and watch the groceries being scanned ….then after they have all been bagged ..they start digging out / looking for purses or wallets or even phones to pay …..why …. can’t they be organised and get the cards/ phone / out while the items are being scanned …and be ready to pay

I hate when YOU shop for all your groceries, and get to the cashes, and they are lined up the middle of the store, because they have 2 cashiers on, trying to save money, well, I sure am not saving money of the cost of groceries, get more cashiers on...
Drivers Who don’t use blinkers to change lanes or indicate they are going to turn out in front of you

Hubs gets really frustrated at them ….and I say Dear …..think they must come as a optional extra on cars now days :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
or put their left signal on, and go right...

My biggest peeve has been my entire driving days, a merge lane on a highways is to get up to speed, not to get on the highway instantly and then pick up your speed...

The problem is that when you get older your mind does not work as fast as it use to. So they are trying to process. On the other hand I find that I have more patience for these kinds of issue's simply because it could be me in front of you the next time:)

I live in a high tourist area in a country area and I find the biggest offenders of this is young people ….

I do a big shop once a fortnight and rarely go near the shops till the next shopping day, most times the cashier is waiting for them to get purses / wallets / phones out to pay

People who are careless opening and closing things.
They tear the box opening the foil and then mess up the foil.
They remove the plastic wrap from the casserole in the fridge but only put in halfway back on.
They leave the butter open with crumbs in it.
They lose the bread tie and just fold over the wrapper.
That's enough for now. It could be a lot worse.

People driving into the exit, with warnings not to do it, then crying about blowing tires.

People parking in a city park, then getting upset being told to leave (after 3 days) this ain't a KOA campground.

People who can't afford to care for an animal, wanting one for free.....or constantly begging for supplies.

Enough for now

Whether it's a doctor, a person who does work at my house, or even a "friend", I'm lenient up to a point, but once they've convinced me they're unreliable, I'm done, and there's no going back.
When I get to an appointment on time and am made to wait more than 15 minutes, I walk up to the desk and tell the receptionist that from this moment forward I will be charging them to see me. My time is valuable. I usually am seen right away.
