Are there any negative effects to blowing up beaver dams with Tannerite? I understand the positive purpose is to keep the river flowing in the desired direction, not killing trees, and lowering the water level. And I understand the Beavers aren't living in the dams they build. But I feel something is wrong here when man messes with nature. What is it?

I can't answer that Lara. My neighbor is a beaver trapper. I think he is the one that told me that the booms you hear sometimes are dams being blown up.
