I get sentimental over these things as I assume most of us do.
Share some things your offspring has done or said that made your heart just swell.
In a recent conversation with my youngest son he was telling me how his daughter (now 8)
still asks for him to carry her at times. Just recently Mom told him, she really needs to walk by
herself, she's big enough.
Son said.... "having 2 others years before her Mom, I had to say "No, as long as she still allows me
to carry her, I will because soon enough the day will come when she won't want me to and my heart
is going to break that day".
It choked me up. Because I remembered his father and I had that same conversation at one time too about him.
It's wonderful to see signs of their father has lived on in them after all these years.
