I cannot answer this except life is cool as opposed to non-life. I have not experienced non-life so any answered provided by me would or would not be accurate and subject to personal opinion.
 
I would say life is enjoyable. It's winter, and I'm warm. I get hungry, and there's food. I get tired, and there's a bed. I may not be wealthy, but I don't want for much. I'm at the point of my life where I appreciate crawling into bed for a good night's sleep. It's liking the 38th time I've seen a "Fraizer" episode. My life is just like billions of others' lives. But my life is new to me.
