This $115,000 2-story home on wheels was created to disrupt the tiny-home market.

I actually DO NOT think those tiny homes can be moved easily. I thought perhaps the wheels added were more of a way to permanently add a vehicle to a lot that normally shouldn’t be there cause who in the right mind would want to haul one of these homes around. They clearly aren’t designed for traveling.

And while I appreciate the minimalistic lifestyle, doesn’t mean our dwelling needs to be smaller; just the amount of stuff.

You of course hit on the major reason why traveling in your own ‘self contained’ vehicle is the safest way to go. You have your own bed, your own toilet, your own food cooked the way you like and your own dishes & utensils.

That type of traveling would definitely suite us. Our dogs would love it too. I wonder if these RV vehicles will ever run on electricity alone to save on gas.Of course it would probably cost more than an average home.

That’s a nice RV. It must take a bit of learning how to drive it. Sweet. Thanks 👍

RVs and mobile homes are well-designed to make use of every bit of space. They’re also built in bulk so have better purchasing power for the manufacturer.

Having a tiny home on ‘wheels’ may be a technical workaround to bypass some bylaw. That’s the only advantage I can see.
