This forum is for "hot" topics....

Dry heat? To me, after it is over 100 it is bad humid or dry. Humid is more oppressive even at 80 than dry at over 100. But after 105 and on up to 114 or more, it is nothing to play with. Water and shade are important and as Jim said, thanks to A/C we can stay at 76 day and night.

I told ya Annie, dry heat is what your oven and clothes dryer put out. Dry or no, don't let anyone BS ya, it's too damn hot.

Jim, those temps remind me when I was stationed at Camp Roberts, CA. God it got hot and no air in our garage. In all fairness, I was young, dumb and full of....
That Hamms beer sure went down easy. :sentimental:

I understand the cold brew. My military time, USCG all was by the water, no real heat issues but even then in the afternoon when off duty loved my brews.

Today seemed a lot cooler here. 78 degrees in my house right now with the AC off, windows open, and a nice breeze flowing through.

Lovely late Winter's morning over here.
Cloudless blue sky, sun streaming in the window and outside temp now 55.4oF (10.00 am) , maximum expected to be 60.8oF.

Paradise on a stick.

Please send some of your lovely warm weather to Melbourne: Yet another day of 12 Cel.
It has been the coldest winter in 20 years, cold enough to yearn for central heating, not those little heaters in every room!

Jim, tell me again why you retired to Arizona??????? :D

Hey! I love my Arizona. We know we have about 4 hot months but early mornings are not bad outside and we have 8 months of weather that is the envy of most of the USA. No super humidity and you never need to shovel sunshine. I did my share of snow shoveling.

76 is too warm for me! My a/c keeps my home at 70.
CT is having a humid heatwave; about 90 for the past few days and a few more forecasted...ugh!
