An American pop star has tweeted to her 22 million fans on twitter.... how many of those will believe her is unknown but I would imagine too many

Proffesor Chris Whitty ( our Chief Medical officer) and Boris Johnson today criticised Nicki Minaj for spreading an 'untrue' and 'ridiculous' myth that coronavirus vaccines can cause impotence - before she hit back on social media just minutes later.

The Prime Minister said he would rather listen to NHS England's top GP Nikki Kanani about the jab as he and the Chief Medical Officer both condemned the remarks by the star, who has not yet been vaccinated.

Minaj had been mocked after telling her 22million Twitter followers last night that her cousin will not get the vaccine because his friend allegedly became impotent after being jabbed and his fiancé cancelled their wedding. The 38-year-old tweeted yesterday: 'My cousin in Trinidad won't get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that a lot of people get their "news" from questionable sources. Some seem to spend quite a bit of time searching for "information" that reinforces their unwillingness to be vaccinated, and even think this virus is a "hoax".

I'm convinced that a sizeable percentage of our population is dealing with mental issues.

All one needs to know is it's a celebrity opinion. Not that it should be automatically dismissed or accepted but I can't worry about any celebrity, actor, athlete etc mumblings. Sometimes in context and they can cite an expert in their own words and not parrot a point a view they 'might' draw my attention.

I remember in the 1990s when a lot of the college football scandals started coming out followed by several professional sports scandals and celebrity/musician crimes started hitting front page with regularity generated a debate-should they be considered a roll model and/or have that responsibility. The argument winds up being they're paid to work/perform in their speciality not social work and have no responsibility or obligation. Other than to keep selling themselves.

I never even heard of this pop star.
I think she made her early bones by singing/performing then she started making movies, tv appearances etc. If I recall she became headline material by acting in a spoof movie about kim jung/north korea.

All she did was repeat a story. She is not connected to the newly impotent. What bothers me about this is that anything that happens to someone after taking the vaccine it is the vaccine that takes the blame. Absurd. "Oh, no! I got pregnant AFTER I took the vaccine!" "Oh, no! I crashed my car after taking the vaccine!"

that's if she didn't invent the story herself...(she's also not vaccinated )

"Swollen Testicles?"
Never allow a nearsighted person to give you a vaccine.

And never allow a nearsighted Rabbi to do a circumcision.

She says she's still researching the vaccine issue before making up her mind. Really.

Check out her music video for the song "Anaconda" and tell me we are not in the late-Rome stages of cultural decline. (I'm not linking to the damn thing.)

Don, I agree about the "mental issues." It's incredible to me that with all we know about this nightmare, there are still people who think they are "injecting us with poison." This is paranoia, plain and simple.
