It's currently the best for me. The best I ever participated in was a company only set of forums back in the 80's, but this is a close second. I think the software used for this forum is wonderful. It's great to be able to just react to a post with one's opinion yet be able to reply to a post if one wants to.

However even with great software if the participants aren't good, then the forum is pretty much worthless. I generally find most posts to be very respectful and tolerant. I think that makes sure there is a good mix of people here because most people rarely feel as if they don't belong here because their views are different.

I actually found two other forums that use this same software but the participants in those forums aren't nearly as interesting as the folks here.
 
I like it here because there's more than 5 members & usually always quite a few here. Most folks don't wanna hang on sites with no members who are hardly there. It would be nice to have some more topics though. I'm getting sick to death of all the COVID & racist threads.
 

I enjoy the banter among the few that prefer debate on the "touchy" subjects. It stays respectful, as it should. Why should it turn mean? We are not always going to agree. Life would be boring if we did.

I also read a few months ago of another couple of pilots joined the forum, but haven't heard from them in awhile. Where did they go?

I would like to have one of those brownies, warmed up and then add some ice cream and lastly some whipped cream and a little chocolate drizzle. Cherry or no cherry, doesn't matter.

Haven't been on any others - didn't know these existed - it was simply be chance that I found you. I think I must have put in something like 'senior needs company' but so many of you have been very very kind to me. I just want to give a special thanks to Aunt Marg, if I may, because when we were on @debodun riddles I had such a laugh and the banter was something I had never experienced for many a year. To Gary O - your taproom exploits have left me in stitches. @hollydolly your kindness to get me the product I didn't have here moved me and the other thing in which you have have tried to help me with highlighting. The point is I have found more kindness on this Forum than I've ever met in my life before. So thank you all. Not one for socialising 'cos of my background, but I feel love from a distance. Again thank you all, and if I didn't mention you all sorry --oh Marciks (did I spell that right- you helped me with Avitar) .....it means a lot. For the first time in my life I think I can say I have a number of people who either understand me or are on a similar level to me and that my friends warrant a big big thank you from me . 🤗 🤗🤗

The best thing I love here is silly banter among experienced, golden (not old) people. Lots of witty characters in here that don't get easily offended. I bow to the wisdom of many who have lived a lot longer than me.

I just remind myself to avoid religious and political discussions that are divisive.

I really enjoy the music thread of various songs we love to listen to.

Overall, thank you Matrix and Sea Breeze for this site and for tolerating all personalities that make it outstanding.
