Those eye allergies are gone!

I posted on here quite a while back about going to a different eye doctor for a second opinion.
I had a problem with allergies in my eyes plus what my doctor diagnosed as map dot fingerprint dystrophy.
I got good advice on here and got rid of the allergy problem.
That was the part that was causing most of my problems.
Even if I have to put drops in my eyes for the map dot dystrophy for the rest of my life that is nothing to compared to all of the problems that those allergies were causing me.
All of the pain and itch and other problems cause by the allergies is gone and my life is so much better now.

Can map dot dystrophy ever resolve on its own over time?
I read where people say that it had returned so that tells me that they had stopped having the problem at least temporarily.
I don’t fully understand all about it but I have seen the little patches of transparent film with the fingerprint type ridges on the surface of my eyes.
Then the doctor tells me that the Muro 128 drops help draw the extra liquid out that causes my corneas or whatever to swell.
All I have to do is put these salty drops in my eyes three times a day.
The doctor told me that I am supposed to have to do that for the rest of my life
After I have the cataracts removed from my right eye I will try to find out why that should be in my particular case.
Good question! Thank You!
Maybe someone who has or has had this dystrophy can wade in with more information.
